There is something special about REACH that I connect with and love being part of it. I full-heartedly believe in what REACH is about and how it goes about supporting and fighting for students that need it. I love it that every child is welcome, and no-one is ever turned away or asked to leave. The students I meet in this role amaze, surprise and remind me why I do this and what is important about
being human.

I started with REACH at the beginning of September 2022 as a Business Admin Assistant. I felt welcomed by the incredible team here immediately. As I’d worked in education for many years previously I felt that I would understand the environment easily. However, the time spent here so far has opened my mind to the incredible alternative education ethos that REACH is about. I enjoy so many new experiences in my role which is only enriched by the young people and fellow staff here.
